Michael Hodson
Botanist

| Mr. Hodson joined GSRC in 2003. He has participated in evaluations of local and regional determinants of wetland plant community composition, plant and animal surveys, invasive plant and mammal control, relic dune and pine savanna restoration, erosion control, and trail maintenance. While working for the U.S. Forest Service, Mr. Hodson developed an endangered and threatened plant species field guide for use by other U.S. Forest Service employees at the Holly Springs National Forest in Mississippi.
Mr. Hodson’s main responsibilities include researching and preparing Environmental Assessments (EAs), Environmental Impact Statements (EISs), and Biological Assessments (BAs) as well as planning and participating in field studies. Mr. Hodson has extensive experience working in both Oklahoma and Mississippi.
Mr. Hodson received a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Mississippi. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northeastern State University.
