Denise Rousseau Ford
Environmental Management

| Ms. Rousseau Ford joined in 2007 as an environmental engineer. She has worked as an environmental professional in both the public and private sectors for over 15 years. Prior to joining GSRC, Ms. Rousseau Ford was the assistant director for an EPA-funded research and outreach center at Louisiana State University (LSU). While at LSU, she also taught several undergraduate civil and environmental classes and developed two outreach programs which provided tailored, technical assistance to communities with environmental concerns and Brownfields redevelopment issues.
Ms. Rousseau Ford is currently the project manager for several Department of Homeland Security and Office of Border Patrol (OBP) projects and a Navy Defense Base Closure and Realignment Commission (BRAC) project. Her main responsibilities at GSRC include project management, research and preparation of various National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documents such as Environmental Assessments, research on hazardous and toxic issues, and Phase I site assessments. Ms. Rousseau Ford also has experience in hazardous site assessment and remediation and Brownfields property cleanup and development.
Ms. Ford received a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Louisiana State University, and also received a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Louisiana State University.
