Chris Cothron
GIS Specialist
|

| Mr. Cothron joined GSRC in 2007 as a GIS Specialist. Since joining, he has participated in projects relating to wetland delineations, environmental assessments (EA), environmental impact statements (EIS), and biological assessments (BA), HEP and Incremental Cost Analysis. His main responsibilities include Data and Theme Construction, Spatial Analysis of geographic data, Database Management, Cartographic Design and Geographic Data Analysis for biological/environmental reports. He has experience working in ESRI’s ArcView, ArcGIS 9.2, ArcIMS 9.1, and GeoMedia Professional 6.0. He has experience in project development, spatial analysis and database creation using ArcMap, ArcCatalog, ArcTools, Spatial Anaylst, and ArcEditor. Mr. Cothron has assisted in preparing NEPA documents for projects in Louisiana, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Georgia, New York, and California. This experience has allowed Mr. Cothron to acquire a sound knowledge of Geographic Information Systems within the environmental Sector.
Mr. Cothron received a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Louisiana State University.
