Renee Erickson
Project Director / Archaeologist

Renee Erickson is a Registered Professional Archaeologist and joined our team at GSRC as an Archaeological Project Director in 2020. Ms. Erickson has worked as an archaeologist in the field and laboratory for more than ten years. She has experience in multiple regions of the United States including the Northeast, Plains, Southeast, and Subarctic.

Ms. Erickson has worked as a professional archaeologist contributing to Phase I surveys, Phase II investigations, and Phase III data recovery efforts in multiple states including Alaska, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. She has participated in and supervised numerous prehistoric and historic cultural resource projects.  Her experience includes excavation, historic and prehistoric artifact recovery and analysis, and technical report preparation. She also has experience in data collection utilizing several types of geophysical equipment such as ground penetrating radar and electrical resistance.

Ms. Erickson received her Master of Arts in Anthropology from Oklahoma State University. She also received her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from Northwestern State University of Louisiana.
