Zach joined the GSRC team officially in 2023 after having worked with the company for several years. He graduated with a B.A. from the University of Southern Mississippi with training in field methods and laboratory processes. He has participated in many different projects over the course of his nine years as a field archaeologist. He has worked on many Phase I and Phase II cultural resource surveys to locate, identify, and assess potential sites. He has also participated in several Phase III data recoveries in which he excavated units, blocks, and features for the purpose of recovering and protecting at-risk cultural resources. Over the course of his career, Zach has worked in Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, California, New Jersey, Texas, and Tennessee, but he specializes in the archaeology of the Southeastern U.S.
